I have found the aforementioned viaduct over Fleet Street. It was on the eastern end of Ludgate Circus until 1990 and supported trains between Blackfriars, Ludgate Hill, Holborn Viaduct and Farringdon. In 1990 they knocked it down and ran the tracks underground instead, dispensed with Ludgate Hill and Holborn Viaduct stations (which were literally across the road from one another) and created the City Thameslink network.
This image is by Gustave Dore and was created in 1872.
